Tropical Moose Shaved Ice is St. Louis’ premier Snow Cone Stand. Tro Mo, as it is affectionately called by its many loyal customers, got its start over ten years ago after owner Jack Williams and his wife Pat vacationed in Hawaii.  Jack, a teacher of the deaf, decided that a snow cone stand, like the ones they tried on the Island, might be an exciting way to spend summers.  He was right!

Tropical Moose’s exclusive specialties include: 

• The Hawaiian Dream Cone - a scoop of ice cream covered with snow then topped with the flavor of your choice.
• The Eskimo Cheesecake - a slice of cheesecake in the middle of your favorite flavored snow cone.
• The Volcano - the world’s only exploding snow cone is topped with pop rocks.
• The Canine Cooler - a meaty flavored snow cone made just for pets.

Tropical Moose was named Best Snow Cone by the Riverfront Times and selected for St. Louis Magazine’s A-List. We are regularly featured on local television and radio stations and in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Tropical Moose is also very involved in the community and is a proud supporter of many local organizations and charities.
